Tybee Kite Festival, April 28, Benefits Parkinson's disease, Bands, contest, tricks and displays

Over a million people nation wide will recognize this April as both Parkinson’s Awareness Month, and as National Kite Month! The Savannah Parkinson’s Support Group and the North Beach Bar & Grill invites every one in the community to join us in raising awareness for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders by participating in the 2nd Annual Tybee Island Kite Festival. There will be a kite design contest for the students of Savannah Arts Academy, kite flying tricks and displays, and“The Band With No Name” will supply the music! Join us at Tybee for a fun filled day at the beach with music, food, fun, art and of course – Kite Flying!!
