My Beach House

Our whole family gathered together the weekend before Thanksgiving 2014 to celebrate the SCAD graduation of our daughter/ family reunion/ Thanksgiving. The beach house was a comfortable, historic home a block away from the beach. The upstairs/ downstairs living gave ample privacy to all our family and the enclosed upper porch/deck was the gathering spot for our graduation celebration. The weather was rainy, but not our family spirit and energy. I did hear that Island kerioke was a big plus!

Have stayed in multiple properties from My Beach House but this was my first time at the original property that started it all! Clean, cozy, the outdoor shower was the best part. Had all amenties for the beach, ping pong, etc. Loved the location and the easy access to the sand. The screened in porch is easily the best feature—we utlized this to enojoy the sun and weather but block some of the heat and bugs. Had a wonderful stay and will absolutely return.

My Island Cottage was an amazing vacation spot. We had a full house and it was more than enough room and space for us to cook, relax, sleep and play. It was a short walk to the sound and AJ’s restaurant and bar. I stayed in the REC room and it was comfortable and an amazing way to sleep 8 people in one spot. I would like to go back every year and experience relaxing days and fun nights in Tybee. Couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay for a long celebration weekend! Thanks so much Lauren, you made it easy and perfect.

The cottage is so charming and comfortable for a group, Lauren thinks of everything! The beds are incredible, the kitchen is well appointed and the ping pong table porch was the site of an epic battle. Short walk to the beach where dolphins swam and frolicked a few feet away…we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for everything!

The best features of this home was the proximity to the beach and the beachy decor inside. It was an adorable place and we enjoyed staying over the 4th of July holiday tremendously. Lauren was wonderful and responsive to our needs, even on a holiday morning. Thanks so much.

Enjoyed our stay at My Island cottage immensely! I’d definitely bring my large family back for another stay on beautiful Tybee Island, and that’s saying a lot since we come from one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. the cottage was well equipped and those dreamy beds were so very comfy. Top is all off with how easy Lauren is to work with and it’s an A+ vacation experience!

She has everything you need sitting in the condo that you will need from fabric softer to plenty of toilet paper. Wifi is good, Tv reception good. You can leave the windows open and hear the beach for 24 hours a day. The shelling is best on this end of the beach. Beach Shabby Shek is great decor. She even has two pair binoculars .

This place worked well for a varied family reunion of five couples, including two night-owls and a couple with a small 2 year old. A short walk to the beach, good linens and outdoor patio–even in the heat of August this place was a true find! Lauren was great to communicate with and gave us good advice while on Tybee!

The house was very well-equiped and has just about everything we needed. Some of our favorite things: biking around the island The Lighthouse Alley 3 sunsets Dolphin watching Kiteboard watching and the Marine Science Center (the staff there was excellent! Answered all of our questions Gelatos Icecream was great We enjoyed grilling and chilling on the back deck. What a blessing. We loved it.

Of again, another fabulous vacation. This is partly due to Lauren and the way she makes sure your stay is the best it can be. We honestly felt like we were at home. The location of this house is perfect. We were there for the 4th of July and that was awesome. And, again this year, our dogs had a blast in the back yard. We had several great meals while we were there – Stingrays, Sundae Cafe (phenomenal and highly recommend this place), and, of course, we ate at North Beach Bar and Grill several times. Although we had to, we certainly didn’t want to leave Tybee. Thanks for everything you do Lauren! We truly had a remarkable trip and can’t wait to come back. Janet & Ernie Hudson

Once again, a great vacation at Twin Arbors, side B. This is mainly because of Lauren. She makes her places feel like home. We were there for the 4th of July and that was awesome!! The location of this house is perfect. We had an unbelievable dinner at Sundae Cafe. Also had great meals at Stingrays and, of course, ate at North Beach Bar and Grill several times. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait until we can return. And, as last time, our dogs had a blast playing in the back yard. Thanks for everything Lauren. Once again, the perfect vacation!!
