It’s Memorial Day weekend and there’s no better time for a Rockabilly Beach Bash to usher in summertime on Tybee! So put on your dancin’ shoes, because you won’t be able to stay in your seats for this rockin’ hoppin’ doo woppin’ beach bash. We’ve got those cool cats, The Wave Slaves opening the show with their instrumental melodic classic surfer rock sound. This hot quartet is a staple in the local music scene and the only band in town with a professional belly dancer for their surf/punk drummer. Next up, we’ve got Crazy Man Crazy, the best live Rebel Roots Rockabilly band in the Southeast music scene. Loaded with a full clip of upbeat originals and fun and familiar covers from many decades of true Rockabilly music, including favorites from Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Wanda Jackson, and The Stray Cats. Crazy Man Crazy knows how to shake, rattle, jive and wail. The energy from the live show raises the rafters.
