My Beach House Rentals holds a business license with the City of Tybee Island.  License 01115.

Rules about being a good Tybee neighbor.

Occupancy and # of cars is limited to the maximum # indicated on website page for each property and in confirmation email for each house. If violation of any policies including  occupancy and # vehicles exceeds allowed numbers your credit card may be charged up tp 500.00 and all rental fees will be forfeited and Lessees may be required to vacate property.

The balance of the rental fee  is due at least 31 days prior to your arrival, at which time My Beach House Rentals  will email the combination to the Key Box on your house along with directions, check-in and check-out times and our favorite restaurants

We accept PAYPAL ,personal checks, traveler’s checks, money orders, cashiers’ checks, and VISA or Mastercard or Discover or AMERICAN EXPRESS

Lessee shall not damage the premises during the lease term, including pipes, wires, glass, plumbing, fixtures and other equipment. Lessee will leave premises in clean condition upon departure i.e. dishes clean, trash removed, all furniture returned to its original location, excess sand swept up. All Dog droppings and Cig butts removed from yard if applicable. Pets must be crated during guest’s absence.

Non-disturbance clause: Be a good neighbor. City of Tybee Ordinance: Quiet after 10pm.

Check-In/Check-Out Times: To guarantee our guests a clean house and to avoid delays, we ask that all guests abide by our Check-In Time of 4:00 pm EST and Check-Out Time of 11:00 am EST.  We CANNOT guarantee early check-in or late check-out requests. $200 fee if guests arrive at property before 4pm or depart after 11am.  Your Cleaning service needs plenty of time to clean .

Parties: No house parties are allowed in any of the rental units. We reserve the right to charge your credit card up to 500.00  and terminate occupancy without refund should this occur. Please no fireworks. Fireworks are illegal in the state of Georgia.

Cleanliness:  My goal is to provide you with a sparkling clean house.  Please call me immediately upon your arrival if your house is not cleaned to your satisfaction.  I will send the cleaning staff back right away or at your convenience.  Please note I cannot provide a refund of any fees but will do everything within my power to make you happy.  The “cleaning” fee covers  credit card fees, handling fees, linen fees, supply fees and more.

Smoking: All of My Beach House Rental Properties are non-smoking properties. Although, smoking is permitted on the deck, porches and outside properties. If there is evidence of smoking in the house, a $200 ionization fee will be charged to credit card. $200 fee if butts are found in the yard.

Pet Rules: Please do not allow your pet to dig holes in yard. Pets are not allowed on furniture or in beds.  It is difficult to remove pet hair from upholstery. Please remove “droppings” from yard. Place in outside trash can. No bathing of pets in house. Will clog drains. No scratching on doors, furniture, screens, etc. Credit card will be charged up to 500.00 if pet rules are not followed. Use pet towels for sandy paws, not people towels. Remove all pet droppings from yard area. Pets must be crated when left alone.

No Pets are allowed in or on the premises unless My Beach House Rentlas has expressly authorized such use (type and weight of dog must be listed on lease and non-refundable fee(s) paid. Our No Pet homes do not allow pets anywhere on or about the premises. If you wish to bring your pet, choose a pet friendly property (DOGS ONLY, NO PUPPIES, CATS may be approved at the discretion of the property owner). Pet limits vary by property,  If a pet is brought onto a property without express permission of My Beach House Rentals, guests will be charged a fee of $200 and may be asked to leave the premises immediately.

Trash pick-up: City of Tybee provides trash pick up once a week. Please remove trash from house periodically so trash does not build up.

While our goal is total accuracy, My Beach House Rentals is not responsible for changes made or inputting errors. Taste, style and quality vary. We make every effort to relay information via pictures, descriptions and relative pricing. Descriptions are subject to change without notice and rates subject to change until confirmed.

ONLINE BOOKINGS/AFTER-HOURS RESERVATIONS: Online bookings are not confirmed until you have spoken with or received an email confirmation from Lauren Davis with My Beach House Rentals. Lauren will attempt to contact you within 24-48 hours to confirm or if necessary, rescind  your online reservation request for any reason. Your reservation may be cancelled and all monies refunded if the dates are not available at any given property. 

Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify and save individual homeowners, My Beach House Rentals and its employees, free and harmless for any liabilities or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related to, or in any connection with the rental of the premises, including but not limited to, any claim or liability of personal injury or damage or loss of property which is incurred or sustained by a guest or of guests of guest. My Beach House Rentals is not responsible for items left behind but will make every effort to locate and return to you.  There is a minimum 35.00 charge for returns plus postage.

If there is an obvious online quote error or error in the calendar availability , website owner reserves the right to correct. Your online reservation request is considered a request and is not valid  unless confirmed by email by Lauren, My Beach House Rentals.  My Beach House Rentals may refuse to honor an online reservation for any reason.

My Beach House Rentals RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE: All rental properties are leased without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap or sexual orientation.

From time to time a property you have reserved may become unavailable or un-rentable during the dates you have requested due to circumstances beyond My Beach House Rentals control. Should that occur, we will notify you as soon as possible and make every effort to find a suitable replacement property for you. If we are unable to find a property that is satisfactory to you, the reservation will be cancelled and all monies paid will be refunded to you. My Beach House Rentals is not responsible for repayment of transportation expenses if guest cannot find a suitable substitution for their dates.

Refunds
The Rental Agreement is a legally binding agreement between Guest, My Beach House Rentals and the Property Owner. Your reservation and signed Rental Agreement bind you to a specific property for a specific period of time. There should be no expectation of refunds or relocation because you are disappointed with the property you have rented or in the event that something associated with the property is not working to your satisfaction. Unlike a hotel, we cannot relocate you without specific authorization from the Property Owner. We will make every attempt to correct any problem that arises during your stay in a timely manner. There will be no refunds for mechanical failure of items such as air conditioner, TV, dishwasher, washer/dryer, or other luxury items.

 GUEST SERVICES FEE: A non-refundable Guest Services Fee is included in the cleaning fee for all reservations.  The non-refundable Guest Services Fee includes:  24-7 emergency assistance, guest mobile/smartphone application, free WIFI access, .

Cancellation Policy:

My Beach House Rentals always recommends trip insurance (especially during hurricane season) and offers it through CSA Travel. If you do not choose trip insurance and do not not click the box on the reservation form the following policy applies in  the event of cancellation,  no refund will be provided.  Peace of mind is priceless so please consider trip insurance. We will do it all for you.  Rate is 6.95% of total fees.

Hurricane/Weather Evacuation

In the event of an ordered evacuation due to hurricanes or other storms, you are required by state law to evacuate property. If you have declined trip cancellation insurance, you will not be entitled to a refund. Refunds for the period of mandatory evacuation will be made solely by CSA, provided Guest has purchased optional trip cancellation insurance. Refer to trip cancellation policy or contact CSA directly for specific information and/or refund procedures. If you choose to leave due to “Storm Warnings” or “Voluntary Evacuation” no refunds will be given. MBHR will not issue refunds in part or in full for inclement weather. Our recommendation for travel during hurricane season is for you to research and purchase trip cancellation insurance.
